The Mound Westonka area has many city-wide festivals and outings throughout the year.  Some of the larger festivals include Spirit of the Lakes, OLL (Our Lady of the Lakes) Blast, and Mound Fire Department Annual Fish Fry.  These events bring thousands of people into the Westonka area every year!

Excelsior, Wayzata, Long Lake and Minnetonka also have festivities of their own that are worth checking out.  Here is a list of some of them.
